It all depends on the Complex and Management Company. Some specific misdemeanors are banned "at certain complexes" for life. The types of misdemeanors that are banned by many companies include some violent charges, sexual charges, Theft of Property Charges, Property, and Weapons Charges like:
- Prostitution (considered by some, but not all apts to be a sexual crime)
- Terroristic threat (considered by many apts to be a violent charge)
- Child enticement
- Indecent exposure (considered by most, but not all apts, to be a sexual crime)
- Minor drug possession or Possession of a Dangerous Drug
- Assault Family Violence (a violent charge)
- Assault with bodily injury (considered by many apts to be a violent charge)
- Burglary of a vehicle or vending machine
- Possession of two to four ounces of marijuana
- Unlawful carrying of a weapon
- Cruelty to animals
- Property crimes like Vandalism, Graffiti, etc.
- Theft of property
- Public lewdness (Example: intercourse in public"- a sexual crime)
- Unlawful restraint (considered by many apts to be a violent charge)
